Extension of the contracts of the corps intermédiaire
The University's management announced on May 12 that researchers hired on a fixed-term contract whose work has been affected by the coronavirus pandemic crisis could apply for a contract extension.
You will now find on the "Work" page of our coronavirus website the information and forms necessary to apply for an extension of contract, as well as a description of the functioning of the Commission specially set up by the Rectorate to evaluate these requests. The files will be processed in decreasing order of priority according to the expiry date of the contract.

Poetry in its most beautiful digital form
Have we entered a new poetic era? At the Château de Morges, computers with artificial intelligence are writing haikus and quatrains are presented on state-of-the-art screens... Exploring the relationship between poetry and digital technologies, the exhibition "Code/Poetry (Digital Lyric)", temporarily closed due to the pandemic, is once again open until 4 July.
According to Antonio Rodriguez, professor of French literature at UNIL and co-director of the event, solutions have been found to respect the sanitary rules in force so that "interaction does not rhyme with contagion". The project, supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation, is the result of a collaboration between UNIL, EPFL, the «Haute École d'ingénierie et de gestion du canton de Vaud» and the «Haute École d'art et de design de Genève».
