Paper Development Workshop “Publishing in Top Management Journals” in cooperation with the Journal of Management Studies at HEC Lausanne
Department members Patrick Haack and Moritz Gruban hosted a paper development workshop in cooperation with the Journal of Management Studies (JMS) to help early career researchers improving their understanding of crafting a paper for publication in a top management journal.
Together with the Journal of Management Studies’ (JMS) General Editor Igor Filatotchev, Cass Business School, and JMS Senior Associate Editor Gerardo Patriotta, Warwick Business School, department members Patrick Haack and Moritz Gruban organized a paper development workshop at HEC Lausanne. JMS is a multidisciplinary journal with a long history of excellence in management research. Given that it is becoming increasingly challenging to publish in high-profile academic journals, the editors offered practical advice to PhD students and early career researchers on how to frame, develop, and publish their research. The participants from HEC Lausanne as well as participants from the universities of Geneva, Lugano, Bern and EPFL gained valuable insights about the expectations of an editorial team and the requirements to publish in a top journal.
