Marianne Schmid Mast, Dean of HEC Lausanne (UNIL) since 2021, has been confirmed for a second term that will see her lead the faculty until 2027. She will be supported by a dean's team that includes two new members: Valérie Chavez-Demoulin and Jeffrey Petty. Paul André and Christian Zehnder are continuing the adventure.
The new dean's team at HEC Lausanne, which took office on August 1st 2024, has been elected for a period of 3 years. Two new members have joined the Dean: Valérie Chavez-Demoulin, Professor of Statistics in the Department of Operations, and Jeffrey Petty, Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Department of Strategy, Globalisation and Society. They replace Felicitas Morhart and Boris Nikolov, who have returned to full teaching duties after many years on the Dean's Office.
Led by Dean Marianne Schmid Mast, the new Dean's Office aims to continue to raise the profile of HEC Lausanne both nationally and internationally. It will also pursue the following strategic ambitions and development imperatives:
