The STRIVE programme on ecological and social transformation is putting out to tender four seed funding grants of up to CHF 20,000 each.
The University of Lausanne is inviting applications for four seed funding grants under the STRIVE research programme. The seed funding programme is an instrument designed to support the search for external funding for interdisciplinary research projects on the theme of ecological and social transformation at UNIL.
Each grant is equivalent to the salary of a post-doctoral researcher at 100% for a period of 2 months (or part-time for a longer period, up to a maximum of 6 months), up to a maximum of CHF 20,000. The fellowships enable the recruitment of a person to contribute to the development of the project to be submitted to an external funding body.
Applications are open to professors, masters of teaching and research (MER) and scientific collaborators (PhD holders) who have a contract with UNIL that is valid for the entire duration of the project.
Grants will be awarded on the basis of the following criteria:
Full details of how to submit a project can be found on the STRIVE website.
Applications must be sent by email to strive@unil.ch before 15 August 2024.
