This free workshop retreat will be in person and held in both French and English (mastery of both languages is not a requirement). Open to researchers and practitioners at all career stages, and particularly to those at the edges of academia, it offers a unique platform to network, share insights, gain inspiration, and inspire others. Come share communal dining experiences and present chapters and creative musings on the themes of racial (in)justice, gender, sexuality, migration, and precarity! Participate in evening events – a keynote book launch by members of the GRAU and an optional ‘permit party’ research initiative. This BYOP (bring [all] your own permits) event is a chance to compare documents and share life stories about migration journeys as well as experiences of state regulation. Though anyone on Earth can participate, GRAU will reimburse the Swiss leg of the journey to and from the chalet.
