Nicolas Eon Duval and Arno Chappatte, HEC Lausanne students, took 1st and 3rd place respectively in the QTEM data challenge with their teams at the QTEM Annual event in Brussels. The winning team was coached by Patrice Lê, HEC Lausanne alumni. The aim of the challenge was to discover the habits of customers returning to the luxury sector in order to improve their experience, based on data provided by Cartier. Find out more about QTEM
Bettina Klaus, Professor in the Department of Economics, who has been elected President of the Society for Social Choice and Welfare. The aim of the Society is to promote the advancement of knowledge in social choice and welfare economics, broadly defined, and to facilitate communication between researchers from many disciplines working on these topics.
