HEC Lausanne (UNIL) is thrilled to announce that 13 research projects led by its members have been selected by external funding during the 2022-2023 academic year, totaling CHF 6,355,000.
These grants have been awarded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) as well as private and public organizations.
National Research Program 80 ‘Covid-19 and Society’
Overseen by the SNSF and funded by the Swiss federal authorities, this program aims ‘to explore the societal dimensions and processes that have influenced the evolution of the pandemic and its short, medium, and long-term consequences’.
A total of 25 projects were chosen, among them Prof. Rafael Lalive's research at HEC Lausanne titled Impacts of Covid-19 and policy measures on trade, labor demand, and job finding.

Projects involving 9 researchers have been selected for funding by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). The total value of these grants exceeds CHF 5 mio.

Three of our researchers have received funding from other organizations for research projects totaling over CHF 748,000.

Two funds totaling CHF 300,000 were awarded to Enterprise for Society (E4S), in which HEC Lausanne (UNIL) is a partner along with EPFL and IMD, for projects led by our researchers:
