Sustainable entrepreneurship: HEC Lausanne students win UCreate2 exploration workshop prizes
14 project leaders had the opportunity to pitch and win various prizes during the closing event of the UCreate2 exploration workshop (fall 2022 session), a 7 weeks-initiation journey to sustainable entrepreneurship, organized by UNIL's Entrepreneurship and Innovation HUB.
The UCreate2 program for the fall 2022 session was celebrated with all the participants & coaches of this great cohort. The 14 project leaders had the opportunity to pitch and win various prizes.
Two student projects HEC and HEC & EPFL won the CHF 2'000.- prize:

urMAP.ch (Nicola DeParis, student HEC) - A project to discover, inspire and bring Switzerland together through clever and playful urban exploration maps.

EcoCompteur (Maxime Albisetti, student HEC & Guillaume Peyrand, student EPFL) - A water and electricity usage meter consumed in real time, which transforms daily water saving into a fun and informative challenge.
The "coups de cœur" from the audience are :
- Sport for peace (student project, SSP) - We would like to provide a base for Ukrainian & Russian athletes to train here in Lausanne. We believe this could be a powerful and effective means of using sport to resolve a deep-rooted and complex political conflict.
- DémoCité (researcher project, SSP) - Study office in participatory democracy, which offers local authorities training, support and evaluation mandates, in connection with participatory systems.
