The Graduate Campus has published the results of its first annual survey – 2018+3 – on the professional paths taken by UNIL doctorate holders, three years after their thesis defense.
This initiative is a part of UNIL’s goals to ensure the quality of its doctoral training and to highlight the diversity of career paths taken after the doctorate.
Of the 290 people who obtained their doctorate in 2018 (PhD, MD-PhD or MD) from one of the seven faculties at UNIL, 255 were contacted and 103 participated in the survey.
With a participation rate of 40%, the sample population includes 46% women and 56% men. Almost half (48%) of the participants obtained their doctorate from the FBM, 15% from SSP, 15% from GSE, 10% from the HEC, 8% from Lettres, 5% from FDCA and 1% from FTSR.
The key figures from the report are available on our website.
The Graduate Campus is available to discuss with you the content of the survey and/or answer your questions about the results.
The 2019+3 annual survey is under way!
We're looking forward to receiving your responses. If you defended your doctorate at UNIL in 2019, please check your email for further details. If you would like to participate but haven't received an email, please contact us.
