UNIGE IBA 2022 TEAM - Leman GeoEnergy
After a two-year hiatus, the team (Leman GeoEnergy) will represent the department of Earth sciences in the upcoming American Association of Petroleum Geologists Imperial Barrel Award Competition.
After a two-year hiatus, I am excited to introduce you to the team (Leman GeoEnergy), representing the department in the upcoming American Association of Petroleum Geologists Imperial Barrel Award Competition.
The team has worked assiduously in the last 8 weeks to come up with a hydrocarbon exploration strategy and for the first time a carbon capture and sequestration project for the study area in light of the ongoing energy transition, decarbonization, and sustainability goals.
We would like to thank everyone that has supported the team: Prof. Sebastien, Prof. Rossana, Prof, Andrea, Dr. Silvia, Emna, Mohammed, and Nino.
Special thanks to our industry mentors Dr. Gavin Elliott Mentor and veteran Dr. Marteen Wiemer for volunteering their valuable time.
