Interview with Giorgio Zanetti, vice-rector in charge of "Teaching"
In brief :
Other informations about events, teleworking and working on site
Teleworking is still recommended when possible. However, it should not interfere with the functioning of the unit and the coordination of its activities.
When working on site, sanitary measures must be respected:
Only teachers may remove their masks while teaching, provided that their position and movements allow them to remain more than 1.5 m away from the students.
The measures applicable to vulnerable persons with a medical certificate remain in force. Further information can be obtained from the Human Resources Department.
Some specific rules for buildings under the responsibility of the CHUV or EPFL apply.
Official holiday on 24 December 2021
The Council of State of Vaud has decided to grant all State employees an official day off on Friday 24 December, as 26 December, which is usually granted as an additional day off, is this year a Sunday.
This decision also applies to UNIL staff.
The UNIL Rectorate, following consultation with the faculties, has therefore set the end of teaching for Thursday 23 December 2021. Hence, no teaching will take place on Friday 24 December 2021.
End-of-year gatherings
All events with catering are cancelled or postponed. Graduation ceremonies may be held, subject to sanitary measures and without catering.
