The new dean's office of HEC Lausanne, which took office on 1st August 2021, has been elected for a period of three years. Led by Dean Marianne Schmid Mast, the new dean's office aims to continue to raise the profile of HEC Lausanne at the national and international levels. It will also pursue the following strategic directions:
- Actively develop programmes and teaching by anticipating the future of higher education as well as the future of the labour market.
- Making research more impactful for tomorrow's world.
- Strengthen relationships with the local educational, economic and entrepreneurial ecosystem and with society at large.
- Streamline internal practices and processes to take full advantage of technological, societal and environmental developments.
