Several department members were invited to present their research at the three-day conference hosted by ETH Zurich, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition and Technical University of Munich
Professor Annamaria Conti and the PhD student Ron Rabi will present their paper “Herding in the Market for Startup Acquisitions” (co-authored by Jorge Guzman from Columbia University) at the Munich Summer Institute 2021.
Further, the study “The Economic Effects of Mobile Internet Access – Evidence from Roam-Like-at-Home” by SGS Professor Christian Peukert and his co-authors Martin Quinn and Miguel Godinho de Mato (both from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa) will be presented at the conference.
Last but not least, the research of the PhD student Franziska Kaiser “Batman Forever? The Economics of Overlapping Rights” (co-authored by Alexander Cuntz from WIPO) was also accepted to be presented in Munich.
