Here are the first information from the UNIL Rectorate, following the announcements of the Federal Council on April 14, concerning an easing of the health measures that authorises universities to reintroduce some face-to-face teaching under strict conditions
On Wednesday 14 April, the Federal Council announced an easing of the health measures that authorises universities to reintroduce some face-to-face teaching under strict conditions, in particular limiting the number of people that can attend a course in person to fifty.
The UNIL Rectorate is pleased to see this: it is keen to offer its students the possibility of resuming, as far as possible, the exchanges that are at the heart of university life, as emphasised by Rector Nouria Hernandez in her video message at the beginning of the semester.
The Rectorate met immediately after the announcement of the Federal Council to define how to make the most of this opening, within the limits imposed by a restriction of a maximum of 50 people attending in person, whereas at the moment at UNIL there are more than 400 courses given to students of more than 100.
To date, we can therefore give you the following information:
In addition, the next student COVID Info Meeting has been brought forward to Thursday 22 April at 12:15 on Zoom, at https://unil.zoom.us/j/93644717813. Rector Nouria Hernandez, Vice-Rector Giorgio Zanetti and representatives of your faculties will be available for a question and answer session with students.
