Psychological support on Discord, by and for students
Accueil Santé provides the UNIL community with prevention and health promotion interventions. In this context, a team of peer students, trained in the fields of sexual health, alcohol and drug consumption, as well as in the motivational approach, regularly intervene on campus during various events. Following the Covid-19 pandemic and the psychological impact of the situation, peers have received further training in mental health, in addition to the usual areas mentioned above.
The team of peers, adapting to the situation of the distance learning courses, launched an online support environment on the free Discord platform, with the support of Accueil Santé. A real place for exchange and mutual help, proposed by students, for students.
