Pierre-Marie Glauser, associate professor in the Department of Business and Tax Law at HEC Lausanne (UNIL), has been appointed chair of the Board of the ISREC Foundation Foundation. His term of office will begin on 1 February 2021.
Founded in 1964, the ISREC (formerly Swiss Institute for Experimental Cancer Research) Foundation is a private, not-for-profit foundation that supports experimental cancer research. Support from the ISREC Foundation has contributed to significant advances in oncology and plays an active, substantial role in combating cancer.
A member of the Foundation Board since 2016, Prof. Pierre-Marie Glauser has now been appointed chair. He succeeds Ms Catherine Labouchère and will take up the role on 1 February 2021. "Taking over the chair from figures such as George Müller, Yves J. Paternot and Catherine Labouchère, who have contributed to the Foundation’s growing reputation, is an honour and a challenge I am happy to tackle," commented Prof. Glauser.
The whole school congratulates Pierre-Marie Glauser on his appointment!
