A series of free virtual workshops each focused on a UN Sustainable Development Goal will start in January.
The Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) – of which UNIL is a member – in collaboration with the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network and UNESCO, is holding a series of free virtual workshops, each thematically focused on a UN Sustainable Development Goal. The workshops will bring together early career researchers (ECRs) from all around the world (PhD students in their final year and post-docs), who are interested in establishing connections to colleagues in their field.
Format of the workshops
Each networking workshop lasts for 90 minutes, and will be launched by internationally distinguished speakers who will provide an overview of the major research opportunities and challenges in the broad topic domain. Following the introductory speakers, participants will break up into virtual meeting rooms, which will be set up according to the research interests (within the session’s SDG theme) indicated by participants during the registration process, so that they can develop their international networks and collaborations.
Registrations to the first two workshops are open. Only researchers affiliated to UNIL or another WUN member university can register.
