Professor at the Department of Accounting and Control at HEC Lausanne, UNIL, Paul André will become the new Editor-in-chief of the journal beginning on 1 January 2021.
Initially addressing a strictly French-speaking audience, the scientific journal Comptabilité Contrôle Audit / Accounting Auditing Control (CCA/AAC) now accepts the submission of articles written in English and is open to all streams of contemporary accounting research. Thanks to its stringency and a very exacting selection method, it has become one of the scientific journals of reference in its field on a European scale.
The principal responsibility of Prof. Paul André in his new role as Editor-in-chief will be to select the articles to be published. He will also be in charge of the editorial board and will coordinate the journal’s annual conference.
The appointment committee pointed out the quality of Prof. Paul André’s research work, the extent of his international career, and his keen determination to reinforce the journal’s international reputation. His considerable experience in contributing to scientific journals was also greatly appreciated, whether as the former Editor-in-chief of the journal Accounting in Europe or as associate editor or member of the editorial board for various journals, and particularly for the Journal of Business Finance & Accounting, Accounting and Business Research, and Contemporary Accounting Research.
“I am delighted with this new challenge. In collaboration with Frédérique Déjean, my Coeditor-in-chief, and my entire editorial board – and to carry forth the work of the previous teams –, I intend to help reinforce the visibility and impact of Comptabilité Contrôle Audit / Accounting Auditing Control. I would also like to encourage the submissions of young researchers.”
HEC Lausanne congratulates Prof. Paul André for this new position!
