On the menu of this 22nd newsletter, you will first of all find practical information helping you finish your autumn semester as well as possible, despite the current context. It includes video tutorials to learn how to manage your stress and stay motivated, as well as a reminder of UNIL's services offering help in case of health problems. This is followed by a short information about the evaluation of your courses. Finally, a reminder: at the end of this month is the last moment to send in your file if you wish to go on an exchange in 2021-2022.
Video tutorials to help you in your studies
The Guidance and Career Service (SOC) and the Teaching Support Centre (CSE) offer video advice to keep you motivated over time in a distance learning context and also to learn how to manage stress.
Health or morale at half mast, who to turn to?
At this particular and uncertain time of year, you may be experiencing low morale, difficulty falling asleep, or have questions about your health in general. Do not hesitate to contact the psychotherapeutic consultation: consult.psy-unil@chuv.ch. Further information on the conditions and general operation of the consultation can be found on the website of the Social Affairs and Student Mobility Service (SASME).
Accueil santé UNIL is also at your disposal. For a free nursing consultation, make an appointment online.
Evaluate what you are learning
Your teachers can ask the CSE for an evaluation questionnaire in order to obtain your opinion on their courses and other seminars, whatever the modalities (distance, hybrid, etc.), your possible needs and your suggestions for improvement. If necessary, you will receive an e-mail from the CSE inviting you to fill in an online questionnaire anonymously. Take this opportunity to have a constructive dialogue with your teachers and to share your suggestions with them! More information on teaching evaluation by student and a FAQ on this subject can be found on the CSE website.
Mobility 2021-2022
