IT tools at your disposal
For group work
Microsoft Teams is a collaborative tool that already allows you to chat, create virtual communities, share documents and collaborate as a team in a synchronous or asynchronous way. In view of the start of the new academic year, it has been enriched with new functionalities. You can now :
- Hold videoconferences with up to 49 simultaneous video streams (for a maximum of 300 participants)
- Invite your colleagues to your virtual meetings directly from your calendar in Teams
- Work securely: documents stored and shared on MS Teams are encrypted
You must use your UNIL usernames and passwords to use Teams and all Microsoft online services.
To follow the distance learning courses
Zoom and Ubicast are used to broadcast your lessons live. Your teachers can also record and stream them.
The IT Centre helpdesk is at your disposal for any further information you may require.
A newsletter for families
At the start of this academic year, the Equality Bureau has put together a newsletter that presents several entities inside and outside UNIL that offer services to families in all their diversity.

Sports courses: COVID-19 measures
In order to ensure traceability of attendance in the facilities of the Dorigny University Sports Centre, it is compulsory to register for all free classes, as well as for activities requiring a subscription (weight training, sauna, yoga, Pilates, skating).
Registration is done on the website sport.unil.ch, on the page of the activity of your choice. A valid sports login and, if applicable, the corresponding subscription are required.
You can register for two classes or time slots of the same discipline at the same time.
