UNIL offers its employees an on-site workplace that complies with the health regulations issued by the Federal Office of Public Health to enable them to carry out all their activities. Although teleworking is no longer a priority as a protective measure, the Rectorate continues to encourage teleworking, which remains subject to certain conditions detailed in this newsletter. The Rectorate is working on the revision of Directive 1.40, whose new provisions should apply from next year. You will also find details of the rules of behaviour to be followed in on-campus workspaces and information on the distribution of masks at UNIL.
Clarification on the teleworking conditions
Special cases:
Subject to the provision of a medical certificate, specific provisions apply.
At present and until further notice, teleworking can be continued, subject to a detailed account of the days worked remotely.
In this respect, the Rectorate would like to take this opportunity to thank the employees for their participation in the survey, which results concerning the section on telework will allow a reflection on the perspectives on this topic in autumn.
Behaviour in the workplace
As of September 7, anyone working on campus must wear a mask when moving around the buildings and when the distance of 1.5 meters from another person cannot be respected. In work spaces (offices, open space), the following rules apply:
The specific rules for buildings under the responsibility of the CHUV apply.
Distribution of masks
As of today, each employee will receive two fabric masks offered by UNIL. They will be distributed internally by the deaneries and service management.
For students, distribution will be done through relay points within UNIL buildings upon presentation of their campus card.
MS Teams: one account to do it all
From 14 September, Microsoft Teams, the collaborative tool that already allows users to chat, create virtual communities, share documents and collaborate in teams synchronously or asynchronously, will be enhanced with new features. You will be able to:
In order to activate these new features, work will take place during the weekend of Friday, September 11th. The service will be available again on Monday, September 14. You will need to use your UNIL usernames and passwords to use MS Teams and all Microsoft online services from that date.
For teaching purposes, Zoom and Ubicast are there to broadcast live courses, record them and stream them again, as advised by the CSE (Centre de Soutien à l'Enseignement).
