100 entrepreneurs UNIL : Davide Staedler named "Best CEO 2020"
Davide Staedler, Alumni of the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of UNIL is the founder of TIBIO.
A graduate from the University of Lausanne (FBM 2010) with a master’s degree in medical biology and pharmacology, Davide also holds a PhD in chemistry from EPFL. He has been running TIBIO world for more than 11 years. TIBIO’s goal is to offer scientific consulting for private individuals and companies in the fields of environment and biotechnology.
This year he won the award for best CEO 2020 in biotechnology consulting (Central Europe) awarded by CEO Monthly. He says : "This year is the most challenging in my career – due to the current social and economic situation, so I consider this recognition more as a starting point and an encouragement than an achievement. And, of course, would mean nothing without the work and the support of my team. Many thanks to all!".
Davide Staedler is also part of the 100 entrepreneurs of UNIL - this project of the HUB Entrepreneurship and Innovation aims to bring together entrepreneurs from UNIL and celebrate the entrepreneurial richness of our University.
By sharing their stories and celebrating the entrepreneurial richness of our University we wish to stimulate the entrepreneurial spirit among the students of the 7 UNIL faculties. This unique project will create opportunities for meeting and collaboration between entrepreneurs and students of UNIL.
