What is the CFA Institute Research Challenge?
The CFA Institute Research Challenge is a global financial analysis competition, organized by the CFA Institute to promote the emergence of new talents. It is awarded for the best presentation and written analysis of a listed company by a team of students: in 2020, the case study for the Swiss teams was an evaluation of the Swiss high-tech company u-blox (UBXN SW).
In 2019, the team of students from HEC Lausanne qualified for the world final after winning the Swiss and EMEA competitions, while in 2018, it won the overall event, becoming the CFA Institute Research Challenge world champion.
A victory that has propelled the team from Lausanne to the world final!
Thanks to this victory, the HEC Lausanne team has made a major leap forward in the competition. On 22 April, it will be competing with the best teams from America and Asia in the world final. We wish the team every success on the final straight.
