In this fourth newsletter, the UNIL Rectorate gives you an update about the upcoming exam sessions. You will also find the help you can turn to if you are a medical student and feel the need for psychological support, whether you are mobilized on the hospital grounds or not.

Psychological support for medical students
The School of Medicine now offers a space for listening and emotional support for its students, especially for those who are involved on the ground. The new roles and responsibilities, the confrontation with difficult situations or the fear of contamination for oneself and one's loved ones add to the difficulties linked to distance learning as well as all the uncertainties generated by the coronavirus pandemic.
For all medical students: a helpline
The following numbers can be dialed for listening and assistance from three psychologists:

For students mobilized in the health service: "Coronabreak" sessions
Group discussions of 45 minutes with the Zoom application are organized once a week on Fridays at 1 p.m., led alternately by Elena Martinez, Dr. Oriane Aebischer, Sara Vadot and Jo Boegli. Limit of six students for optimal support.
Registration: please register by email at coronabreak-med@unil.ch.
Objective of the sessions: to welcome and listen to the students' experiences and offer support by calling on their personal resources, as well as collective resources. Stress management exercises will be offered during the sessions or via videos or podcasts on the internet.
