Chercheur en psychologie vocationnelle et organisationnelle, M. Parmentier réalise une thèse sur les aspects d’anticipation émotionnelle des transitions scolaires et professionnelles, sous la supervision du Pr. Frédéric Nils. Plus précisément, ses travaux portent sur la façon dont les individus anticipent émotionnellement les nombreuses transitions éducatives et professionnelles de leur vie, ainsi que les antécédents et les conséquences de ces anticipations émotionnelles. Ses travaux ont pour objectif d’adopter une perspective tout au long de la vie en abordant plusieurs transitions : transition de l’école à l’université, transition de l’université au monde du travail, transitions professionnelles en tant que chercheur d’emploi, transitions professionnelles en tant qu’employé, transition à la retraite. M. Parmentier s'intéresse également à l’intelligence émotionnelle, aux adultes en reprise d’études, à la déshumanisation au travail, et aux aspects psycho-sociaux liés aux espaces de travail en entreprise.

A researcher in vocational and organizational psychology, Mr. Parmentier is writing a thesis on the emotional anticipation aspects of school and professional transitions, under the supervision of Pr. Frédéric Nils. More specifically, his work focuses on how individuals emotionally anticipate the many educational and professional transitions in their lives, as well as the antecedents and consequences of these emotional anticipations. His work aims to take a lifelong perspective by addressing several transitions: transition from school to university, transition from university to the world of work, professional transitions as a job seeker, professional transitions as an employee, and transition to retirement. Mr. Parmentier is also interested in emotional intelligence, adults returning to school, dehumanization in the workplace, and the psycho-social aspects of workspaces in the workplace.
