A new type of chimeric antigen-receptor (CAR) T cell that can be switched on and off on demand is unveiled in a study led by Melita Irving and George Coukos, both of the Lausanne Branch of the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, and Bruno Correia of the EPFL.
The study is published in the Nature Biotechnology journal.
