Solange Ghernaouti, Professor at HEC Lausanne, University of Lausanne, and an international expert in cybersecurity and cyberdefence, has just published a book on analysing cybersecurity risks and implementing solutions, called “Cybersécurité: Analyser les risques, mettre en œuvre les solutions”.
About the book
How can we manage the risks associated with using digital technologies and with cybercrime? How should we express the security requirements of information and data protection systems? And finally, how can we implement technical and governance measures for cybersecurity?
These are the main themes of a book that aims to provide pragmatic and practical responses to the issue of cybersecurity. It takes a comprehensive, cross-disciplinary approach that complements security management and engineering. The book also explains the basics of risk management and helps develop skills in analysing and implementing strategic and operational measures in the same area.
It is also a valuable teaching resource for courses on cybersecurity and security of information systems and telecommunications networks, with summaries, over 180 corrected exercises and a glossary to support skills acquisition and assessment.
