Two new agreements have been signed by the International Relations Office of HEC Lausanne, University of Lausanne, in relation to the new Annen grant. The grant is aimed at Bachelor’s students, to fund the enrolment fees for a semester on an exchange at one of these two prestigious institutions.
New exchange agreements with two renowned universities
The new agreements are in addition to the 150 destinations already open to students at HEC Lausanne. Agreed by the school’s International Relations Office in relation to the Annen grant, they will offer the opportunity for students to embark on an exchange at two of the world’s best academic institutions: the University of Pennsylvania and the University of California, Berkeley.
Just 20 minutes from San Francisco, the University of California, Berkeley is a public university with a global reputation for its highly qualified researchers, the innovation at the heart of its programmes and the diversity of its student population. Its dynamic campus attracts both local and international students, who are actively involved in student life.
Located in central Philadelphia, the University of Pennsylvania was the first US academic institution to achieve university status. It is part of the highly selective Ivy League, as one of the eight oldest and most prestigious universities in the United States. Innovation and interdisciplinary academic research are reflected in an attractive range of courses, while life on campus is both dynamic and diverse.
Student competition for the two Annen grants
The two grants, one for the University of California, Berkeley and the second for the University of Pennsylvania, will be awarded to students in the second year of their Bachelor’s course, for a university exchange during the autumn semester in 2020. The grants are intended to fund the enrolment fees for a semester spent at the partner university. This is a unique chance to attend classes taught by some of the most renowned professors in their field, while taking advantage of the numerous opportunities available at two campuses that offer an outstanding range of activities and resources.
Applications must be received by 1 December 2019.
