Training of doping control officers in cycling at the Unil
The center of Research & Expertise in antiDoping sciences (REDs) hosted a 3-days education seminar with the Cycling Anti-Doping Foundation (CADF) for their doping control officers .
Last week-end, the center of Research & Expertise in antiDoping sciences (REDs) hosted and participated to the Cycling Anti-Doping Foundation (CADF) 3-days education and certification seminar for CADF doping control officers.
The role of the CADF is to manage the anti-doping programme on behalf of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). Created in 2008, the CADF is a non-profit foundation under Swiss law that became fully independent and ISO certified in 2013.
The CADF runs one of the most comprehensive antidoping programme among international sporting federations and performed more than 10'000 tests in 2017 (according to the latest WADA testing figures).
The REDs is proud to provide expertise, counselling services and tailored education to support the activities of the CADF.
