Rustamdjan Hakimov joined the Department of Economics at HEC Lausanne, University of Lausanne on August 1st, 2018, as an assistant professor.
Before that, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the WZB Berlin Social Science Research Center. He received his Doctoral degree in Economics from the Technical University of Berlin (Germany) in 2016.
His main research interest lies in the intersection of experimental economics and market design. The particular attention is paid to matching markets and strategic behavior of agents in these markets under different matching mechanisms. The broader agenda includes various topics of behavioral and experimental economics, including biased self-assessments, risk preferences, and workplace motivation.
Rustamdjan Hakimov is also a research associate at WZB Berlin Social Science Center.
