Camille Terrier joined the Department of Economics at HEC Lausanne, University of Lausanne, on August 1st, 2018, as an assistant professor.
Camille Terrier was previously a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States. Her PhD is from the Paris School of Economics (PSE) in France.
Professor Terrier’s research is positioned at the intersection of labor economics, education economics and mechanism design. Her current projects include analysis of the algorithm assigning teachers to schools in France, reforms of student admissions to schools in England, and matching technologies used by online recruitment platforms.
She is a Research Associate at the Centre for Economic Performance (CEP, London School of Economics) in England and Research Affiliate at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) in Germany.
