Dominic Rohner, Professor at HEC Lausanne (University of Lausanne), has just been awarded the Excellence in Refereeing Award 2017 by the Review of Economic Studies. The School congratulates Professor Rohner on his numerous contributions, which have enhanced academic research in the field of political economics and development.
The Excellence in Refereeing Award 2017 was given to him for his expertise and the time devoted as a referee for the Review of Economic Studies throughout 2017. The award gives the review’s editorial board the opportunity to recognize a number of researchers for their “multiple timely, constructive, and insightful”reports. The board comments that “their dedication and service greatly benefits the journal’s editorial process, by helping the editors to select the papers eventually published in the Review of Economic Studies or other similar journals”. The Review of Economic Studies is viewed as one of the most prestigious and selective journals at the international level.
