DNF Symposium: Building Brain
On June 22nd 2018, the 4th DNF Symposium will take place in the Department of Fundamental Neurosciences. It will highlight different aspects of the development of the brain - from the molecules and the cells to their functions.
Since 2014, the Department of Fundamental Neurosciences (DNF) organizes a biennial one-day symposium on different topics of neurosciences. The DNF grew out of the former Department of Cell Biology and Morphology. On this occasion, the annual DNF symposium, which aims at presenting the latest developments from our research programs, was initiated.
The symposia combine lectures by international speakers, talks given by members of the DNF and the Lemanic Neuroscience Community. The talks are interleaved with poster sessions where symposia participants present their research. With this, the symposium provides a pleasant milieu for stimulating discussions during talks, poster sessions and in the more informal settings of the social event.
Participation to the Symposium is free of charge. However, for organization purpose, a registration is required for all participants, to be completed until June 15th 2018.
