The ski team at HEC Lausanne, known as the HEC Lausanne Ski Club, won first prize in the Globe des Grandes Écoles competition held in Méribel (France) from 6 to 9 April 2018. This excellent result crowns a series of fine performances not only in this event but also at the Student Ski World Cup, the GEM Altigliss Challenge (France), in March. Our congratulations to the team, which successfully navigated the slopes and flew the flag for both HEC Lausanne and Switzerland
On the podium for the Globe des Grandes Écoles
The Globe des Grandes Écoles is also a student ski competition, organized by the ESSEC business school Ski Club. The HEC Lausanne Ski Club really threw the timers at the Globe into a spin, winning 1st place for the Ski Team in all challenges, and 1st place overall.
Top spots at the GEM Altigliss Challenge…
Organized by the Grenoble School of Management (GEM), the GEM Altigliss Challenge is the biggest student ski competition and consists of a week of competitions (Mountain and Village Ski Challenges), activities, ceremonies and concerts. This year, it brought together over 1,000 students of 30 different nationalities, with 66 teams in total, and was held from 17 to 24 March in 2018, in Val d’Isère in France. The HEC Lausanne team achieved the following results:
