A team at the CePCO and the University of Bern investigated the links and overlaps between the value systems of individuals and their positioning in the professional world and their careers.
Marc Abessolo, Jérôme Rossier (CePCO) and Andreas Hirschi (University of Bern) conducted their study on a sample of 238 employees. They used scales measuring personal values and career orientation and anchors. Their results show that the two latter can be positioned in the system of values of the individuals, and offer applications in the areas of consulting and management.
