This year's conference is under the title of "Anthropology in a World of Exclusion: Commonalities, Disciplinary Perspectives, Openings" and it is organised by the UNIL.
Anthropology in a World of Exclusion: Commonalities, Disciplinary Perspectives, Openings: Annual Conference of the Swiss Anthropological Association 2016, 10 - 12 November
If it is true that we live in a world that we ourselves create, then what kind of world are we creating? The answers to this question-for the answers must surely be in the plural-would seem to fall within the scope and ambitions of a refashioned anthropology for the 21st century. The 2016 meeting in Lausanne will place anthropology front and center in the face of emergent contemporary conflicts, dilemmas, and possibilities. For this edition, we have organised 2 keynotes and 10 panels to discuss the thematic challenges. All events take place in the Géopolis building of the University of Lausanne (UNIL).
